There is a motor inside the starting motor, and when you turn the start button or key, the motor will move. This mechanism is a small gear popping out. The ejected small gear meshes with a gear called a ring gear connected to the crankshaft. The ring gear is a gear on the outer circumference of the flywheel. The crankshaft rotates by forcibly turning the gears with a starting motor. If the crankshaft rotates, the engine will continue to rotate even without starting the motor. Unlike engines powered by fuels such as gasoline, the starting motor is powered by electricity. Therefore, the motor rotates by receiving power directly from the battery. In this way, the power source that becomes the shaft is also different between the engine and the starting motor
